An escape and evasion map developed for the thirty years anniversary edition of transmediale festival in collaboration with Neural. The publication was distributed through special editions of Neural magazine’s issue 56, where it is accompanied by an introductory essay. The map addresses illusive tendencies to escape – be it from technology, society, or earth – and recounts historical and current episodes of people’s strategies for attempted escapes. For the launch of the publication, a series of parallel workshops were held at the 2017 transmediale festival in Berlin.
