Inside Motion
Virtual Surgeons in the Convergence Zone of Gaming and Medical Imaging. A Report about an Ongoing Exhibition Project.
On the evening of April 26th 2019, the Pharmaziemuseum Basel will celebrate the opening of the exhibition Inside Motion. The Fourth Dimension of Medicine („Bewegte Einblicke. Medizin in der vierten Dimension“).
Topics of the talk are: (1) the current state of the exhibition planning, (2) the interdisciplinary cooperation between media artists, information scientists, designers, engineers, film makers, mathematicians and an art historian within the context of the preparation of the exhibition and (3) some considerations about the role of images and models in medical research and practice.
