Samuel C. Hanselmann – Researcher & Photographer

Sam C. Hanselmann (*1974) is a researcher and photographer at the Institute of Experimental Design and Media Cultures.

He studied multimedia at the SAE Technology Institute Zurich, 1998, received the degree of Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Multimedia Arts at Middlesex University London in cooperation with SAE Institute Zurich 2010. In 2018 he completed the Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Knowledge Management & Digital Transformation at the IKF in Lucerne.

He has several years of experience as a producer and project manager in web, e-learning and multimedia projects for companies like F. Hofmann-La Roche, Credit Suisse, DSM, Holcim etc. Also he was head of the usability lab and information design competence center at PIDAS AG, Switzerland. Furthermore he has several years of experience as an application trainer and as a knowledge worker in the range of business applications, FHNW. Momentary he is gaining further experience in the range of knowledge management as a conceptual designer and as a teacher at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland. Since 2009 he works as a researcher at the Institute for Research in Art and Design in several research projects.
