José Navarro – Research Assistant

José Navarro is audio and interaction designer (Electronic Studio, Music Academy Basel) and guitar performer. He got several prices in video-creation and guitar competitions. Since 2003 he developed several interactive audiovisual art installations, performances and concerts (algorithmic and instrumental).

2007–present: Guitar teacher in the music school of Bale, Switzerland.
2010–2013: Senior researcher and head of the project IRMAT (Interface Research for Musical Applications and Tools) at the Investigation and Development Department of the Music Academy Basel, FHNW.
2003–2007: Guitar teacher in several music school of Switzerland (Brig, Liestal, Baden).
