Sensorium of Animals at Experiment Zukunft exhibition

The exhibition project Experiment Zukunft (»Experiment Future«) in Rostock, Germany, brings together artists, scientists, students and citizens to explore probable, possible and fictional futures. IXDM’s Susanna Hertrich and Shintaro Miyazaki present their research project Sensorium of Animals with an expanded installation that mixes speculative scenarios with an experimental spatial research documentation.

On 26 April 2019, the researchers together with scientist Prof. Dr. Guido Dehnhardt offer a workshop as part of the exhibition programme. Through science and design fiction scenarios participants will speculate on the adaptation of animal and human senses for future life in the sea.
