The third session of this season’s research colloquium will revolve around the concepts of remediation and reverse mediation: the notions of media forms incorporating older media and having in reverse effects on the perception of and articulation in said media. Media reflexivity – the theme of this season – here comes in as what can be described as reading media forms through each other by considering the specificity of particular media forms. As a starting point, see also Katherine Hayles, Print is Flat, Code is Deep.
