On the move…

The institute’s relocation to the “Campus of the Arts Basel”, the new joint campus of the Academy of Art and Design FHNW, is readily approaching. The Critical Media Lab, main part of ixdm’s new research facilities is in completion and will be ready to move into in August. The space having over 400 square meters will become the hub of ixdm’s activities in the future, as a physical lab space as well as a conceptual vehicle to develop a contemporary notion of criticality towards design and media cultures.

We will celebrate the opening with a dedicated event in November. Stay tuned to the official announcement later this summer.
