The performative lecture Liturgy for Eletronic Waste inquires into New Animism from within the frame of a non-animistic society. The performance re-enacts the classic electronic recycling process in the form of a ritual. It is carrying several layers of meaning and making references to the global network of electronic hardware, its flows and logistics – as a link between cultural and economical dynamics to the artists life as well as the human perspective. The lecture was developed within the transdisciplinary research project Times of Waste.
