Life is Good for Now
Life is Good for Now is a new project by Ludwig Zeller, research associate at IXDM and docent at vis_com. Together with Bernd Hopfengärtner (KHM) he developed a contribution to the new exhibition Poetics and Politics of Data at HeK (House of Electronic Arts Basel).
The project Life is Good for Now is a commissioning by the Swiss Center for Technology Assessment (TA-SWISS) and discusses several scenarios for the further development of Big Data in medicine. It offers a speculative view on a Switzerland that decided to realize the right for informational self-determination. In three scenarios that are narrated through objects and speech from the perspectives of inhabitants of this world the cultural potential and consequences of Big Data in the context of medicine and daily life are exemplified.
