Claudia Mareis elected member of National Research Council

Prof. Claudia Mareis, director of IXDM, has been recently elected by the Executive Committee of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) as new member of the National Research Council. The National Research Council is responsible for evaluating research proposals and making funding decisions. It can have up to 100 members, all of whom are leading researchers in their field. Prof. Mareis is representing the field of arts- and design-based research within the Humanities and Social Sciences division of the SNSF.
