Bernhard Garnicnig at Muthesius Kunsthochschule

Bernhard Garnicnig, researcher in the research project “Institutions as a Way of Life”, was invited to speak at the Lecture Series “Kunst und Karriere” at Muthesius Kunsthochschule Kiel. He will talk about “How did we get here”, a point in time where art schools appear to have missed the opportunities by the internet, and instead focus on using it for disciplinary measures. Against this complacency, artists and students now launch critical and pre-figurative initiatives of reform. The talk takes place in conversation with memeclassworldwide, a collective that seeks to expand the canon of languages, styles and methods in art education.
